Biography

Milica Opacic is the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Serbia in the Province of Alberta.

She proudly promotes Serbian culture and heritage in Calgary. She is a one of the key leaders in the Serbian community and active individual with diverse business experiences in the international market.

She graduated from the University of Tourism and Foreign Trade in Dubrovnik, Croatia with a bachelor degree in economics.

She is actively engaged in various initiatives of the Serbian-Canadian associations in Calgary and is a board member of the Serbian Festival and the European Film Festival. Board Committees.

Milica’s approach of inclusiveness, openness and leadership inspires and encourages others in the Serbian Community to participate in the promotion of the local culture.

She is well known for her enthusiasm and dedication.
